Asymmetric Enterprises ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data for all iOS applications ("Apps") developed and released by us, including UnitLens, and our related website and services. By using our Apps, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
We do not collect personal information, identifiable data, or individual usage data directly through our Apps. Any data entered or generated in our Apps remains on your device and is under your control.
However, certain features within our Apps may involve third-party services that collect limited data as described in this policy. Specifically, UnitLens integrates with the Walmart Affiliate Program through the Impact Radius platform (impact.com) and participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. UnitLens participates in the following affiliate programs:
Walmart Affiliate Program. UnitLens participates in the Walmart Affiliate Program, administered through Impact Radius (impact.com) (the "Platform"). When you interact with affiliate links ("Qualifying Links") within UnitLens that direct you to Walmart.com or the Walmart mobile app (collectively, the "Walmart Site"), Walmart and/or Impact Radius may place or recognize cookies on your browser or device. These cookies are used to track whether a purchase or other qualifying action results from your use of the link, and to calculate any commissions owed under the affiliate program. The data collected through these cookies may include click activity, purchase activity, and referral source information. We do not collect, store, cache, or otherwise use any account information of Walmart customers.
Amazon Associates Program. UnitLens is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites and applications to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click on affiliate links ("Special Links") within UnitLens that direct you to Amazon.com (the "Amazon Site"), Amazon may place or recognize cookies on your browser or device. These cookies enable Amazon to track whether a qualifying purchase or other action occurs during a session that begins when you click through a Special Link. Amazon may monitor, record, use, and disclose information obtained in connection with your use of Special Links and any resulting interactions with the Amazon Site. We do not collect, store, cache, or otherwise use any account information of Amazon customers.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies (General). When you click on any affiliate link within UnitLens, the applicable affiliate partner (Walmart, Amazon, and/or their service providers) may place or recognize cookies on your browser or device. These cookies are used to track referral activity, attribute qualifying purchases, and calculate commissions. The data collected may include click activity, purchase activity, product interactions, and referral source information.
Data Collected by Third Parties. We do not receive or store your personal purchase information, payment details, or account information for any affiliate partner. Walmart, Amazon, Impact Radius, and their respective service providers may collect data about your interactions with their sites after you follow an affiliate link, including information about products viewed and purchased. This data is governed by each partner's respective privacy notice: Walmart's Privacy Notice (available in the footer of Walmart.com), Amazon's Privacy Notice (available at amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=468496), and Impact.com's privacy policy.
Your Consent and Choices. By using affiliate links within UnitLens, you consent to the placement of cookies and the collection of data by the applicable affiliate partners as described above. If you do not wish to have cookies placed on your device, you may adjust your browser or device settings to block or delete cookies; however, doing so may affect the functionality of certain features, including the ability to track qualifying purchases.
Some of our Apps may store data locally on your device or sync it using Apple iCloud through CloudKit. Our audio content is streamed and may be temporarily cached on your device.

MetricKit provides aggregate, anonymized metrics such as app launch times, hang rates, memory usage, and crash diagnostics. This data is collected and processed entirely by Apple and delivered to us in aggregate form — it does not contain any personally identifiable information.

In connection with our participation in the Walmart Affiliate Program, the Amazon Associates Program, and use of the Impact Radius platform, we may receive certain confidential business information from Walmart, Amazon, and/or Impact Radius. We treat all such information as confidential in accordance with our contractual obligations and do not disclose it to third parties except as required by law or as authorized by the disclosing party.
Certain content that appears in UnitLens comes from Amazon. This content is provided "as is" and is subject to change or removal at any time. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date and time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon.com at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of the product.
As we do not directly collect or process personal information, we do not store or manage user data outside of your device or iCloud. If you wish to manage or delete your data:
Our Apps are not directed toward children and are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable child protection laws, if we become aware that personal information has been inadvertently collected from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
If you access our Apps or services from outside the United States, please be aware that data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our third-party service providers (including Walmart, Amazon, and Impact Radius) operate. By using our Apps, you consent to such transfers. We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
In the event that Asymmetric Enterprises, or substantially all of its assets, is acquired by, merged with, or transferred to another entity — whether through a sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar transaction — any data associated with our Apps and services (including aggregate analytics data, app listings, user reviews, and any data synced through third-party services such as iCloud) may be transferred to the successor entity as part of that transaction. Because we do not collect or store personal information directly, any such transfer would primarily involve aggregate, anonymized data and operational assets rather than individually identifiable user data. The successor entity would be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy with respect to any data transferred, until such time as an updated policy is published. If a business transfer were to result in a material change to how data is handled, we would notify users by updating this Privacy Policy and revising the "Last Updated" date.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes to our practices, the addition of new third-party integrations, or legal requirements.
